iClever Boostcube 38W Quick Charge 3.0 portable wall charger review

iClever Boostcube 38W Quick Charge 3.0 portable wall chargerThe iClever Boostcube 38W Quick Charge 3.0 portable wall charger is a device capable of one port of Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 (6.5V/3A, 6.5-9V/2A, 9-12V/1.5A,) and two 2.4amp ports with a max charge combined of 4 amps.

Think of it as one really good Quick Charge 3.0 charger with two ports of slightly underpowered standard 2.4amp charging capabilities. Not an issue if you’ve just charging up some devices, but you’ll max out at 2 amps per port if both are pulling it, or 2.4amps if the other port is using less.

Should be noted the non-QQC ports do not appear to diminish the effectiveness of the QQC port, and vice versa. They appear to be on two separate circuits.

The folding plug means you can put it in a pocket and not skewer yourself. The price tag means you can buy it and not destroy your budget.

It’s a good little plug, doesn’t require a cable to attach itself to the outlet, doesn’t block another outlet.
