It might be a great time to be John Legere as after years of putting Sprint on notice T-Mobile’s CEO might finally be Sprint’s CEO as well if a merger takes place.
Talks are happening, again. They were shot down in 2014 by the FCC and USDoJ saying no. This time most likely due to the Trump administration’s loosening of corporate restrictions they’re expected to have a chance.
What T-Mobile would do when presented with Sprint’s underpowered network is anyone’s guess.
While I hope for the best, I can imagine the worst. I’m currently hoping for a T-Mobile takeover carrying their plans and network to Sprint. I’d like to save some money and get Netflix thrown in personally.
