Apple Homepod not potty trained (keep off wood)

HomePod rings 11 - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

The Homepod is out, but don’t put it on wood furniture you care about. That’s about the extent of the reblogging I’ve got on it.

You can read the whole story at the Wirecutter link below, but long and short is something with the base material is interacting negatively when it comes in contact with wood furniture.

MacRumors says Apple is confirming that the HomePod can leave white rings on wood surfaces with oil or wax finishes.

This can be solved with a coaster. Get yourself a coaster until the iCoaster is released.
