Google Home can now play out of any Bluetooth speaker

Google Home Voice Activated SpeakerA little old news for the morning that slipped through the cracks last week – Google Home can now pair with bluetooth speakers to provide some extra oomph.

You’ll still need to talk to the base Google Home unit for things to be heard as it doesn’t listen in through externally connected devices, but if you’ve been feeling a little underwhelmed by your Google Play Music subscription’s bass power you can channel it out whatever stream you like.

The Google blog is a little short on the details, like how many devices can you pair, can you pair multiple devices, can it play out of multiple devices at the same time, are you pairing the Bluetooth to an individual Google Home or to any in your account in range, what happens if the Bluetooth device moves out of range of Google Home 1 and comes close to 2, etc. So there’s some things we don’t know.
