Dodocool iPhone 7 ring/stand case impressions

Dodocool iPhone 7 ring/stand caseThe Dodocool iPhone 7 ring/stand case showed up in my mailbox the other day and I thought “weird, did I ask for this?” Evidently yes, which was cool because I had a friend in need of an iPhone 7 case.

So something I pity most phone cases for is the lack of a kickstand, this has a 360 degree rotatable ring on the back that can be used as a phone stand, and should you have a magnetic attachment mount, the metal will stick to it.

More than a kickstand, the ring can be rotated and used as a grip/ring/etc, allowing you to use your hands a little more. The ring sits in a little valley so that it doesn’t snag things in a pocket or purse.

I’m not entirely sure of the sturdy factor. It felt $15 decent, however I’m not allowed to drop my friends’ iPhones any more for some strange reason. I beat the case up whacking it against a table without any visible denting or plastic weirdness.

Fit snugly, went on easy, came off without excessive effort but didn’t feel like it was going to fall off. It’s a case, all ports available, it’s pretty decent for $8.

Didn’t pay for it, played with it for about twenty minutes. Having reviewed a LOT of cases these past eight years nothing jumped out and screamed that it was cheap or anything to be concerned with. That said, this is impressions from a short amount of use.
