Supreme Court rules states can tax Internet sales higher

Supreme CourtThis is listed as developing as of this writing so I don’t have a lot of background info on it, but states have evidently won the right to charge internet retailers a higher tax rate than brick and mortar establishments.

This could mean protectionist tax measures to keep local stores running, or more likely a new tax funnel for pork barrel projects that help out only a few people.

Will update this when I get more info.
