BLU Products Changes Course

blu - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

BLU Products is known for producing unlocked Android phones and releasing them at a blistering pace. We’ve covered our fair share of them here at Pocketables but there are many more of varying quality that don’t darken our doorstep. As a result, BLU’s product lines have become something of a tangled, confused, muddled mess. It’s hard to know which phones represent the best value and even which are the most recent and current devices. BLU is discovering that supporting such a lineup is troublesome, as well. Software updates are almost non-existent for BLU phones and sales and hardware support is overwhelming.

Today, BLU Products CEO Samuel Ohev-Zion announced a change in course for the company on Twitter. This new course has BLU releasing fewer phones but producing phones of higher quality. Also new is the promise of guaranteed software updates. Ohev-Zion announced the coming release of the VIVO XI+ as the start of their new quality and simplification commitment.
