Don’t just hide your gaming console, put it on display with a Toast made wrap

My wife purchased a very nice ebony console for our living room so we looked a little less like the media freak decor I had before we met. When that purchase was finalized my XBox One S was relegated to underneath, hidden from the light of day, shoved behind books, and otherwise things I generally associated with myself and my serious gaming years.

The white XBox One S just clashes, and the black looks like yet another black box of meh. Not their fault, it’s just what they are. Boxes of entertainment, not furniture.

Toast’s PR people reached out and offered my XBox One S a chance to live in the sun again as something the looks more like an intentional decision and much less like yet another square plastic thing with a plug.

Toast has upped their game since we reviewed their custom phone and Google Home real wood wraps.

They now have metalic inlays and can cut custom made to order as shown with my Pocketables edition Toastmade XBox One S wrap.

They have the Alchemist Designs series, which you can catch here (click the right side of the pic to see all of them,) or you can just contact them with what you want and see if they can handle it.

Quick note – I’m pretty sure they can handle it.

Most popular electronic doodads are doable, and you can also ship devices to them to measure and make cases for if that’s your thing.

I’m going to skip the step by step on how not difficult it was to install the cover for the XBox One S. The only thing that was difficult was the mini buttons at the end. I wished I’d had tweezers. The whole start to end took about seven minutes and now I have something that looks good enough to once again see the light of day.

The only complaint I have about the One S cover is there’s no bottom cover. This is exclusively for horizontally positioned XBox Ones, or those put in a corner (not Baby.)

While Toast has some easy to configure defaults, if you’re wanting anything custom be prepared to come at them with enough information to do it. They managed to do the Pocketables logo with only the low res JPG we have on the site, so I’m pretty impressed so far.
