The dream of 90’s MySpace is alive in Gboard

GifnessGoogle rolled out an update to Gboard (the keyboard,) that uses artificial intelligence to suggest gifs and emojis based on your text.

Unlike many of Google’s recent updates, this one requires updating in the Play Store. They didn’t include it in the code months ago and trigger a switch server side.

So grab it from the Play Store and go to town…

I honestly haven’t seen as much sparkly animated gifs since MySpace. It’s like there’s a collection of glitter and hearts was vomited up by a giant bunny.

Some of the suggestions have been useful, some cute, most I’ve seen nope. Not sure where it’s pulling these from but my bet is MySpace archives.
