BLU Launches Their First Android Go Phone – The VIVO GO

Today BLU has released their first Android Go phone, the 6.0 inch VIVO GO. It’s an $80 phone with a 6.0 inch HD+ screen, 16 GB storage, 1 GB RAM, and a fingerprint reader. Those specs are modest, to say the least, for 2018/2019 but that is the point of Android Go, right? Low cost, low spec phones that run a secure and modern OS and receive timely updates.

I haven’t received a review unit yet so I can’t give much of an opinion on the phone but I’m pleased with the screen size and the inclusion of a fingerprint reader. I won’t know how it performs until our review device comes in but I’m very curious to see a modern phone with 1 GB RAM.

The phone is, of course, unlocked and supports LTE bands from T-Mobile and ATT. You can order one from Amazon for $80.
