BLU VIVO XL4 First Look
I just received the BLU VIVO XL4 last night so I haven’t had time to do a full on review of the phone but here’s a first look at the new budget phone from BLU. The BLU VIVO XL4 lands at $149 from Amazon. What does that $149 get you? It’s a MediaTek based 6.2 inch HD+ phone with an all aluminum body. It definitely isn’t a premium phone but it doesn’t feel cheap or easily breakable. There’s a good heft to it and the size is nice.
With just a short time to actually use the phone I won’t come to any performance conclusions here but I will say that it is a little slow to navigate around. I’m used to using a Pixel 2 XL every day and this phone definitely doesn’t compare but, of course, it isn’t meant to. It seems like it will be a fine replacement or backup phone. Maybe a phone to take out canoeing or hiking where it won’t matter so much if it gets ruined.
BLU packs in their standard accessories for this phone. You’ll get a charger, TPU case, headphones, and a screen protector. All in all, it’s made a good first impression for a phone that costs so little. Expect a final review later. Check out the VIVO XL4 at Amazon.
