Google Photos album limit slightly better now
If you stream an album based on your kids to any smart displays you probably have quickly run into the 10,000 image limit with Live Albums.
This is problematic as unless you’re manually creating an album. Yeah, there’re 10,000+ photos of my kids on Google Photos (about 5 photos a day shared between the two of them at this point.)
Android Police is reporting that the Google Photos support page was changed and now that’s 20,000. Seriously folks, tip us. It’d be nice to be the first on something ;)
While 10,000 photos might seem like a lot, when you start wanting friends, family, kids, pets, etc showing up in your live albums you’ll quickly realize that 10K was a pretty low limit, especially since they’re not taking any additional storage space (they’re already on Google Photos).
Unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to have passed down to me and my existing albums. My Live album is paused with no way evidently to kick start it.
