Hauwei facing millions in fines as well as a potential US lockout
While not exactly news at this point (seriously, schools were delayed by hours for a possibility of snow,) if you’re not keeping up Huawei’s been charged with multiple criminal actions including money laundering, wire fraud, bank fraud, stealing IP, setting up a program to reward employees for stealing, and generally being all around businessy.
This on the heels of a potential US lockout of their products.
Interesting that the lockout was the first option waved as opposed to the second, but then again Chinese equipment providers seem to be under increased scrutiny and attack lately.
