CableTV.com gets nationwide free advertising by offering $1000 job

If your friends haven’t tagged you in a post that offers one person $1000 to binge watch 40 hours of Marvel movies before the release of the next Avengers movie (Avengers: Endgame,) consider yourself lucky.

Avengers Endgame - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

CableTV.com is offering one person a $1000 job to effectively be their reblogged social media person for about 40 hours while watching and tweeting/facebooking/instagramming your thoughts on social media to your followers while getting retweeted by CableTV.com.

The job is essentially for $25 an hour, 40ish hours straight (no sleep,) and you probably won’t gain much from it, but man CableTV.com is making out like a bandit because news agencies can’t seem to put that you don’t feed a publicity stunt like this.

Should you be wondering if working 40 hours straight is good for you, no it’s not. It won’t kill you but by the end of the marathon you’re going to be ~700 richer after taxes, and have some Marvel swag. Whether or not your incoherent tweets at hour 35 make any sense or are read or not, and whether or not CableTV.com has anything whatsoever to do with don’t matter because at this point they’ve probably had millions of dollars worth of exposure.

Should be noted that there’s no stated affiliation between Marvel and CableTV.com that I can locate. This appears to just be a site that’s dedicated to locating and reselling cable that is glomming onto the cultural wave that is Avenger: Endgame.

That said, good job to CableTV.com on managing to get every local news station’s coverage in the US for only $1000.
