T-Mobile to Fold before Sprint merger

T-Mobile has given two week’s written notice to consumers that the Un-Carrier is Folding on the 26th (online Folds available on the 25th).

Full press release follows:

Good morning!

Today T-Mobile announced that the Samsung Galaxy Fold is coming to the Un-carrier starting online on April 25th at 9pm PT and in select T-Mobile stores on April 26th.

Why should customers get the new device at T-Mobile over AT&T? The answer lies in the commitment to innovation and benefits of the Un-carrier. The innovative, first of its kind form factor will feel right at home at the Un-carrier who in turn continues to disrupt its own wireless industry – from Carrier Freedom to T-Mobile ONE. Plus only at T-Mobile can people truly take full advantage of all the features of the device:

• First off, the Galaxy Fold taps into T-Mobile’s (and only T-Mobile’s) 600 MHz Extended Range LTE giving customers better coverage than before in buildings and rural areas.
• With T-Mobile ONE, customers can get Netflix on Us – the perfect complement to the first ever Infinity Flex Display plus they can stream all they want with all that unlimited data
• T-Mobile ONE customers also get international texting and data included in over 210 destinations, so you can stay connected where your travels take you – the perfect complement to all those photos you’ll take with the Galaxy Fold’s SIX cameras

Stay tuned for details around pricing.
