Happy Black Friday Week Month y’all!
You might have noticed that Black Friday started in October this year at some places. Many a site are sitting around “taking a stand” against consumerism while still tagging their links, and writing about consumer products. We’re not taking a stand against it, but probably not wallowing in it this year.
Let us not forget the spirit of Black Friday, and that was when families are forced to sit down for dinner together the day before, they were now willing to curb-stomp a pregnant lady to get a $5 toaster.
Of course we’re covering consumer products and some sales, it’s the only thing that keeps the site going and us in gadgets. This is one of those “take care of yourself over the holidays” messages reminding you to take care of yourself, keep a charger handy, the map of the area you’re in downloaded on Google Maps because you know Grandma doesn’t have signal for 20 miles around, and remember if you’re particularly depressed to give the National Suicide Hotline a call: 1-800-273-8255
