With nobody driving at the moment SiriusXM is offering streaming options, it looks like for anyone. If you’re stuck around the house wanting to listen to Doctor Radio or similar, and you didn’t want to pay for the streaming package, looks like it’s available now.
It appears anyone, subscriber or not, can listen in until May 15th for free to their 300 channel lineup. Remains to be seen if they’ll let subscribers continue streaming afterward (maybe they do now, but it used to be a separate charge).
If you haven’t got the service, go and grab the app, sign up for a free account, and enjoy all the content for another month or so.
Howard Stern’s channel is also evidently out in front of the paywall for a little bit, so if you’ve been interested, it’s free right now.
As a subscriber to the car version I was able to log in, hook it in with my Google Home equipment, and stream things by asking Google Home to… so seems to be working pretty well.
