T-Mobile officially owns Sprint

Yes, it’s April Fool’s Day, No this isn’t a joke. Sprint is now the New T-Mobile. John Legere hands off the CEO role to Mike Sievert.

Sprint and T-Mobile customers have been told previously that they can start expecting to be able to use the resources of the other carrier relatively quickly after the merger finalized. I guess we’re on the countdown from that now.

The merger paves the way for a unified 5G approach between the two formerly individual entities, and I guess we’ll see.
