Google Maps now warning you of crowding, Covid-19 restrictions

To combat this and future pandemics, Google Maps is now giving you a heads up when public transit is packed, when areas are shut down for public health reasons, checkpoints for Covid-19, and restrictions on crossing boarders.

If you’re navigating to testing centers there’ll be an eligibility notification so you don’t risk being turned away.
