That Qualcomm vulnerability, Samsung’s been on that since January

A few days ago there was a vulnerability disclosed involving the ability to overwrite the firmware of some of the Qualcomm chips in most Android phones / give people the ability to record conversations / intercept data / etc.

A statement issued by Samsung indicates they’ve been patching that since January 2021 so you should be all good for the vulnerability that we’ve discussed as a potential since time began.

While the patches have been going out, anything with a May 1 or later patch should be considered good. So don’t put off that software update too long.
