I use driving mode and evidently YouTube Music quite a bit these days (I saw evidently because I’m assuming that’s what triggers when I ask “tell me the news”,) and the past three or four days they’ve been effectively useless.
Google’s driving mode just wouldn’t load yesterday – screen indicating Maps was loading, never did, had to reboot the phone, and my “tell me the news” still shutting down after 3 or 4 items although I’m now getting little toast messages that indicate the service was stopped or that there was an error.
Yesterday I started getting errors just trying to play music. I’ve quite often had these but, first time for getting actually error messages as opposed to “something went wrong”
Forcing the app to stop, clearing cache and data cleared that up for about 14 minutes before once again we’re at random toast error messages indicating something went wrong.
While the YouTube Music I believe has been an ongoing problem, the lack of Maps/Driving mode without a reboot is new and troubling as I use that literally every .8 times I am in the car.
Yes, everything’s up to date – system, apps, etc.
