The link cable is not particularly special and the Oculus branded link cables are notoriously bad. Get it elsewhere.
You don’t need grips, batteries, etc (you will need a AA battery or two at some point down the line for the controllers, but that’s not happened for me yet)
They come with the glasses insert spacer if you wear glasses.
Yeah, that’s what you need to start – you want to play Steam VR or things connected to the computer maybe grab a cable.
