Instagram pics to start showing on Twitter again

Nine years ago the Twitter/Instagram love affair broke right as Facebook was busy paying billions for a name and some filters. Instagram banned pictures from being displayed on any third party (other than Facebook,) and thus Instagram has existed as its own thing or ugly links.

At the moment (a day after their announcement,) this doesn’t appear to be working on either the web or mobile version. This announcement appeared to come right before Instagram messaging apps went down, so perhaps there were bigger fish to fry yesterday than Twitter previews. We’ll see.

Finally a reason to share Insta posts again. Guess Meta/Facebook is really attempting to divert all attention elsewhere.
