It’s not me, it’s you, Samsung (S21 fix on the way)

I’ve mentioned this is possibly the least smooth update I’ve had with a phone in the past 5 or so years. From apps crashing, no longer working, weird UI issues, there’s really nothing particularly *better* about the update Samsung pushed out for the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Scrolling and 120Hz problems are also reported and known, at least on the US Snapdragon variants, and will hopefully be fixed in the next patch according to Android Police.

Anyway, if you can, hold off for a little longer. I’m not sure if the connection problems I’m now seeing are part of the update or T-Mobile, but I’m having to cycle Bluetooth regularly to keep watches and misc stuff working as well as having to cycle airplane mode quite often as I “almost” lose data even with a great 5GUC signal – I’ll be getting abysmally slow transfers / can’t even reach Google for voice to text, flip airplane mode on and off, 600mbit speed tests.
