While there was a Gmail outage in Europe that lasted 5+ hours earlier, this morning has seen my calls from users who suddenly couldn’t get their email on their phone skyrocket.
While it seems to have settled a bit for the users (by the time I manage to post this,) the issue (at least from what I can tell,) seems to have started sometime yesterday when I spotted email from mid-October start rolling in 22 days late. This morning I’ve had calls from iPhone users that their mail just went away, sent items aren’t showing, and then everything comes back.
There’s no outage listed for the US, but my phone calls tend to indicate this is not the case and probably related to the EU outage.
I mean, it could be unrelated, but yeah… probably not, and probably something you can’t fix.
