How To

Take great pet photos using portrait mode

Your camera app probably has portrait mode. Use it to make pet photos pop. At least on the S21 Ultra you’ve got some after effects processing to bring out the fur face better. Below are three good results from 7 attempts at getting pictures of animals I didn’t know. Total time invested about two minutes and 3 pretty great Pawtraits.

It’s an option not generally used, it’s already included with most cameras, and it makes taking great pictures of your loved critters significantly easier.

At least with the Samsung S21 Ultra camera app there’re options for post processing, which I did on the first picture desaturating/color popping the doggo to make his eyes pop.

Anyway, just a neat setting that came with your camera, explore it. The internet was made for doggos and kitties, fill it up.
