Tale of cable fail
Recently went on a trip, packed up the kiddos and enough charging capabilities that there was child entertainment for a 14 hour travel day, brought just enough stuff that we needed, and of course everything failed.
Never used MicroUSB cable for my youngest’s Note 7 (grandpa’s old phone,) charges negatively… in other words it charges at a rate of it’ll take about 21 hours to charge the phone if it’s turned off. Unbeak-cable that advertised pulling a car… well, the cable itself seems unbroken, but the plug was indeed breakable.
Within two hours of takeoff we realized the kiddos had exhausted entertainment options and were in for a very, very, very long flight with nothing electronic we’d packed for them.
Luckily we’d packed non media entertainment, which was … inaccessible… lerd…
Two portable chargers, both charged the night before, one dead, one won’t stay on (turned out to be the cable on that one)
4 hour layover, airport area that had one working outlet…
Managed to get a Qi charger charging the MicroUSB so there was some between airplane entertainment during the 4 hour layover…
fun with cables
