The quick news roundup for Nov 10, 2022

Not a whole lot to write about today, and I’ve got an electrician here so I can’t do a whole lot without fearing electric going down, so here’s a quick roundup of what’s going down today on a fairly slow news day.

Google One’s VPN is coming to Mac and PC. IF you’ve got a paid 2tb or greater subscription you can get the VPN for your PC/Mac. [9to5Google]

Google Home public preview is rolling out, if you don’t mind bugs. As it’s google and it’s rolling out, I don’t have a screenshot or options as it’s not to me yet. There are some instructions at the source on how to get it [Android Central]

Pixel phones are seeing some Package Delivery alerts… sort of like standard Nest Alerts it looks like but better looking notifications. [Android Police]

Google confirming what I already reported about incorrect calorie counts, although only on their newer Pixel watches (not my now-departed Sense). The current solution to the overcounting bug is to turn it off and back on again. [9to5Google]

YouTube hit 80 million Music/Premium subscribers just in time to jack the rates 53% [YouTube]

Netflix is finally worse [Netflix]
