I got to play with a medical ECG vs a watch

I’m having a lot of tests done right now and got another one yesterday. A 12 point medical ECG from what looked like the late 90’s based on the computer, vs a smartwatch that claims to be a clinically validated ECG capabilities.

My little smartwatch said normal sinus rhythm, and it has since I got it. The late 90’s machine that I am pretty sure had a floppy drive, with 12 points of contact said abnormal, and what vein was suffering from a blockage/impediment in the anterior left fascicular area.

Tested on the little smartwatch, no issue.

Now, this isn’t AFIB, so not what it’s scanning for I guess. Something to note though that your heart can be blocked by a lump the size of a golf ball and still show no signs on a smartwatch ECG.

While I do give it that the smartwatch didn’t trigger due to AFIB, does concern me that it says it’s an ECG and claims normal rhythm when a real ECG says not. Two points vs 12 points I guess.

Not that I trust my life and health to the reports of a smartwatch.
