Gemini getting native direct image manipulation

If you want to take a picture you took and add features, such as let’s say the following cat you’d like to add a martini glass in one paw lounging on the beach in a chair, well Gemini will be able to do that soon. It’s here for some, I’m not one of the people it’s available to yet but looking forward to it.

Additionally Google claims it will be rolling out invisible watermark data for AI manipulations called SynthID which we’ll probably see defeated by Gemini in the coming weeks.

I attempted with my cat picture and got the old results of a generic cat on the beach with money and a martini as opposed to what I wanted. Oh well. It’ll be here soon.
