HTC EVO 3D and EVO View specs leaked ahead of CTIA

Htc-evo-3d-ctia Can't wait until CTIA Wireless to find out the details about the HTC EVO 3D phone and EVO View tablet?

No problem. Thanks to a BGR tipster, you don't have to. A full set of specs on both upcoming Sprint devices have been leaked and though there isn't an accompanying image or availability information, what you're about to hear should easily carry you through the weekend and up to Tuesday, when CTIA begins.

First up is the heir to the EVO 4G's throne, the EVO 3D (obviously not shown here). As recent appearances of the HTC Shooter have suggested, the next-gen EVO does indeed have a 1.2GHz dual-core MSM8660 Snapdragon CPU, Android 2.3 (with Sense UI), and a 960 x 540 qHD screen resolution. Filling in the blanks are a 4.3-inch autostereoscopic 3D display, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of ROM, 1.3-megapixel front camera, two 5-megapixel rear cameras, and a dedicated camera button. Powering the proceedings is a 1730mAh battery, and topping it all off are 1080p and 720p 3D output via HDMI, as well as new YouTube 3D and Blockbuster 3D apps preloaded.

You're probably hyperventilating at this point, so here's a quick rundown of the EVO View 4G's specs, which do indeed mirror that of the HTC Flyer tablet:

Assuming the rest of the specs are identical with the Flyer's, then we should also be looking at a 1.5GHz single-core CPU, 1GB of RAM, 32GB storage, and the usual array of wireless radios.

Although I plan to buy both new EVOs as soon as they're available, the EVO View is already looking rather blah compared to the EVO 3D. Even though the two units aren't meant to compete with each other, it's hard to get excited by the View when the EVO 3D is looking so damn good. And we haven't even seen a picture of it yet!
