Sprint rumored to unveil HTC EVO 3D and EVO View tablet at CTIA

Ctia-2011-evo

Since the HTC EVO 4G was announced at last year's CTIA Wireless, it's perfectly reasonable to expect its true successor to debut at this year's show, especially now that CES and MWC are both nothing but faded EVO 2-less memories.

And according to one of Engadget's famed anonymous tipsters, Sprint will be taking the CTIA 2011 stage with not one but two new devices bearing the EVO name! The superphone we've been referring to as the EVO 2 around here will likely show up in the form of the EVO 3D, presumably with a 3D screen in tow. And while the the EVO 3D may boast the most power and advanced features of the family, the EVO View tablet will probably have it beat in terms of sheer size. Engadget thinks the View may be the Sprint variant of the HTC Flyer (7" WSVGA screen, Gingerbread, 1.5GHz single-core CPU), and I don't think many would disagree with that.

So even without knowing anything more than their rumored names, who's getting what? Assuming the EVO 3D is the next-gen EVO (and not another Shift 4G addition) and the EVO View is the Flyer, then I'm definitely getting both. What about you?
