Quick look: Seidio Innodock Jr. cradle for HTC EVO 4G
Since dealing with a cable can sometimes be a hassle, especially when all you want to do is charge your HTC EVO, you may be thinking about getting a simple cradle/dock. There aren't many options to choose from right now, so Seidio's Innodock Jr. Desktop Cradle
is probably what you'll find in your search.
I ordered one from Amazon for a few dollars less than the $29.95 MSRP recently and was going to do a review but decided to just do a "quick look" because there really isn't much to say about it.
It's just a domed piece of cheap plastic that Seidio sells for other phones with the appropriate adjustable connector in place. The nice thing about the dock is that it's compatible with the EVO even when it's wearing a case; the not-so-nice things (yes, things with an "s") are that it feels incredibly cheap, the hideous power sticker on mine is crooked, the EVO needs to be placed carefully into the dock, and the micro USB plug bears a lot of weight. The dock isn't weighted either, so the tall EVO makes it a little unstable, especially since it's just kind of perched there. It won't tip over by itself, but it may not be able to withstand a bump.
The Innodock Jr. serves its purpose in that it charges the EVO and can connect to a computer, but I'm not impressed. I know a lot of people think highly of Seidio products but based on what I've seen of their EVO accessories so far, the company's quality seems to be hit-or-miss to me.
Since I was originally planning to write a full review, I took a bunch of pictures for it. You can see them below.
The Seidio Innodock Jr. Desktop Cradle for the HTC EVO 4G retails for $29.95 but is sold for a bit less on Amazon.
