Husqvarna releases lawnmower remote app for iOS
Husqvarna’s Automower robotic lawn mowers (seen in the video above) are quite interesting examples of home automation…at least if you ask my dog, who keeps tilting his head at one that’s on the route we usually take. They’re the perfect answer for people who don’t have enough time to mow the lawn manually, at least until someone runs off with it. Now they’ve taken the whole automation business one step further and released an iOS app that lets you control the thing from your iOS device. It will still only mow lawns though, so if you thought about flipping it onto its back wheel and using it as your personal sword equipped ninja robot that’s unfortunately not possible at this time.
