Samsung Galaxy Nexus being released on December 2 in UK?

Nexus356-285x480-customSamsung has now partnered with Google twice for the flagship Android phone that runs the latest version of Android and is commonly referred to as the Googlephone. The first time was the Samsung Nexus S, and this time, it's the Galaxy Nexus. The only problem with the latter is that we're still waiting for it to be released.

That wait might soon be over, if Amazon UK is to be believed. Today, the online retailer put up a little message to prospective UK-based Galaxy Nexus purchasers letting them know that the device would be released on the 2nd of December.

That date is obviously hotly debated; even if it turns out to be true, the 2nd could be just the UK release date, and not the rest of the world's.

Still, December 2nd isn't too far away. If we've been waiting for a month since the announcement already, how's another two weeks going to hurt anyone?

That's not to say I'm not psyched for it. A 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 720p 4.65-inch display, and a completely clean copy of Ice Cream Sandwich are specs that make the Galaxy Nexus worth a second glance from anybody in the market for a new phone.
