Wikipedia releases official Android app

wikipedia android - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

Wikipedia apps aren’t the most exciting apps out there, partly because the website works well and partly because there are a hundred billion third party apps out there. Still, an official app is an official app, and it’s nice to see Android being filled in with those. The app is really only your run of the mill Wikiepedia app, meaning a slightly custom look and an offline mode. It scales nicely on tablets, which is pretty much a given since it’s mostly text. Not really much else to say about it, so head over to the Android Market and try it out yourself.
