Sense 4.0 clock and lockscreen now available for rooted HTC EVO 3D
If you really like the redesigned look of Sense 4.0 on the HTC EVO 4G LTE, but you can't upgrade yet for whatever reason, developer Will972 still has some special treats that you might be interested in: namely, he's created a flashable zip for the EVO 3D that brings the Sense 4.0 clock and lockscreen to last year's premier EVO.
However, here are several words of caution before you start: don't flash this zip if you are running anything other than the Shooter Beats ROM for the EVO 3D. Instead, those of you running different ROMs will need to unzip the file and find idelcreen_base and sense 4.0_clock. You'll then have to push it to your system/app folder with something like Root Explorer, and then reboot.
Of course, make sure you create a nandroid backup in case anything goes wrong, but that should go without saying. If you decide to give this a spin, let us know how you like it!
