OK gang, it’s giveaway time. Today you’re competing for an Amazon code (probably valid only in the US but I can check,) for a 1byone 9000mAh power bank and car jump starter (which we reviewed here, or you can see it on Amazon).
The contest winners will be announced March 9, 2016 or thereabout. Those that didn’t win or just don’t want to risk entering a contest on Pocketables can use a coupon code until 11:59pm March 10th for $15 off by entering 3OPOFOJY.
I will point out now when you redeem the code the seller has to be 1byone. If it’s someone reselling one of their products the code won’t work. This applies to the discount, and the winning codes.
I will also point out that you do Pocketables, me, 1byone, or yourself no favors by not reporting and returning a broken product. If an Amazon warehouse damages the product, or if 1byone’s manufacturing process failed, they need it returned and you need a working product. I’m looking at you mr “I got the battery case it never worked but I didn’t want to trouble you”.
OK, one more thing – this contest involves a bit of trust. I’m trusting that 1byone will supply the codes, which they have in the past. At this point if a sponsor backed out on us all I could offer the winners is some Flooze or beta tapes of TV commercials. Kind of a tight month.
How to enter
Make sure your Disqus profile has an email address you can be contacted at. It needs to have it for at least two hours to make sure Disqus transfers the data to the WordPress database. I don’t care if you use a fake email address as long as there’s some way to contact you to email you a code. After two hours it should have synced and if not I’ll comment on your winning entry.
For your first entry – comment below with your worst dead car/dead car battery/car story.
For all subsequent entries, actually I don’t know… make something up. You’re creative folk.
Upvote comments you think are funny.
You get an extra entry if you refer someone and they mention you in their initial entry.
You get one extra half entry if you comment with your favorite Android site. I take a point away if you pander and claim it’s Pocketables ;)

Rules
You can comment at much as you want, only one thing a day gets counted unless it’s really funny. Try to not steal someone else’s story. Play fair. If you don’t play fair at least make sure you cheat creatively.
Also, feel free to share the coupon code for $15 off. Not entirely sure, but I’m betting when it’s used it makes Pocketables look good.
