Google Location Sharing now sharing battery info
File under: oh, that’s kind of useful. Google Location Sharing is now sharing how much battery the people who are sharing with you have.
My guess is this is useful for knowing that in about 10 minutes said friend is no longer going to be broadcasting location because their phone is dead, and not that they’re just not talking to you any more.
Alternately this feature has been in Google Maps for a long time and I just now noticed it.
