Google probably not down – turn off Malwarebytes
Bug with a malwarebytes definition appears to have been screwing with some people’s search engine giant of choice earlier. While they deployed a fix an hour ago it seems to still be messing with some from what I’m reading.
It happens sometimes… if you’re still having the issue disable real time protection for a bit. My bet is it’ll clear up everywhere shortly.
