HTC EVO to concrete: “You crack me up!”
G&E reader GeoffreyM's HTC EVO took an accidental dive off a table yesterday and landed on some very unforgiving concrete. The phone itself is still perfectly functional, but the glass screen has certainly looked better. GeofferyM thinks the invisibleSHIELD he has on the screen is probably what's keeping everything together, and I doubt he'll want to peel it off to find out if he's right.
He already went through the process of filing for a replacement online, which he describes as "ridiculously easy," and should be getting his new EVO within the next week or so.
Talk about an ad for Sprint's $7/month insurance!
