Easily uninstall bloatware on your new HTC EVO 3D

This guest post was written by Bruce Eaton.

Evo-3d-bloat Since the HTC EVO 3D's bootloader, recovery, and kernel images are all still cryptographically signed and an update hasn't been released to unlock them out, many seasoned veterans of a rooted EVO 4G may be worrying about returning to the land of Sprint-induced gas and bloating via their pre-installed apps.

Fortunately, you can simply uninstall this pesky apps with the built-in Android application manager. No longer do you have to suffer Nascar and Sprint TV icons cluttering your application list unless you want them to. Just about every program is removable except for Sprint ID, which is actually not too bad; I can say my wife likes it on her Samsung Transform to switch profiles, as she is not a technical person.

As a quick reminder, if you want to uninstall an app from your phone, simply go to Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications. Select the application you wish to remove and then click Yes to confirm.
