Kairosoft releases sneak peek at Game Dev Story 2 for HTC EVO
Kairosoft has quickly become a hot game developer with their "story" games for the HTC EVO and other mobile devices, and their latest tease of Game Dev Story 2 definitely has some chomping at the bit to get their hands on it.
Their first Game Dev Story was nothing short of amazing, as it brought a simulation type of gameplay to the EVO that we really hadn't seen before. In the new game, Kairosoft is teasing new features such as leaderboards and the ability to share employees with friends, which is something not found in the prequel. This social aspect to the game will definitely change the dynamic in how you play.
With new pixel art and the same gameplay as the first but with updated features, it is sure to excite many Android gamers. Check out a few teaser shots below.
For those not familiar with their previous games, they put you into roles like a rags-to-riches game developer in Game Dev Story, a mom and pop to tycoon level onsen manager in Hot Springs Story, and an inline four cylinder to V12 racer in Grand Prix Story.
With quirky retro pixel graphics and an easy to play yet difficult to master style of gameplay, Kairosoft's Game Dev Story 2 is sure to be a day one download for many.
