First QNX BlackBerry to be 4-inch "mini" PlayBook?

Blackberry-playbook

I really hope you're not sick of hearing about RIM's tablet offering, because the BlackBerry PlayBook is once again in the news. Although, this time, it's not exactly about the PlayBook itself, but the QNX operating system that we're fans of here.

One of my problems with current BlackBerry smartphones is the lack of QNX. They haven't been released yet, and we' haven't been quite sure what they will look like. I mean, let's be honest: RIM goofs up a bunch, so it could be possible they'll release a Curve with a touchscreen and call it a day.

However, if a new rumor is to be believed, the first QNX phone will actually be a "mini" PlayBook, coming in with a smaller 4-inch screen instead of the PlayBook's larger 7-inch one. Twin cameras and a dual-core processor will also be included, as well, plus a native email app.

Are you even interested in QNX anymore? RIM hasn't exactly been on top of updating it very well. I'm still interested, and I've talked about what would make me a RIM customer, so it's just a matter of time to see what happens.
