Hurry: T-Mobile is waiving the $25 deposit for LTE signal boosters and Cellspot WiFi routers until Wednesday

cellspotMultiple reports have been coming in that T-Mobile is waiving the $25 deposit for LTE signal boosters and the new Cellspot WiFi routers, until Wednesday, September 24.

If you remember, the Cellspot is basically a modified ASUS dual-band AC wireless router that has been optimized to prioritize WiFi calling and texting without effecting overall performance. T-Mobile says it has a retail value of over $200, which is true based on current prices for comparable ASUS AC routers. This means that, even if you buy one outright, you’re still getting a great deal.

T-Mobile is giving the router away for free, minus a $25 deposit that is being waived until the middle of this week. This means that you can get a state of the art, AC WiFi router for nothing. Multiple users on multiple sites have confirmed that their deposits are being waived.

All in all, this is incredibly awesome, and I am so happy to be a T-Mobile customer right now.
