Aigo walkshow N6500 image leak reveals improved design
It isn't the Windows XP MID phone that's reportedly still in development, but if these leaked images of an upcoming Aigo walkshow N6500 engineering sample are to be believed, then it seems the company has been spending its time pretty wisely. If nothing else, the rendered device is certainly a cosmetic improvement over its very chunky predecessor.
Other than a 4.3-inch screen and the buttons/ports that can be seen in the images, very little is known about the walkshow's hardware or internal components.
In fact, if you compare the images, you'll see that Aigo doesn't seem to have the hardware figured out yet either, as the "protrusion" shown in the two pics above doesn't match up quite right on either of the pics below.
What the company does seem to know, however, is that the unit will have WiFi for web browsing, an FM tuner, TV-out, ebook reader, photo viewer, and voice recorder, along with support for multimedia formats like FLAC, APE, and AVI.
It's unwise to get excited about a device without knowing important details like the underlying operating system or CPU, of course, but the hardware doesn't look too bad so far.
Thanks, yokomoko!
