HTC EVO 4G gets torn apart

Ifixit-evo

Look away, HTC EVO fans! The diabolical gang at iFixit has wrestled an EVO into submission, sliced it open, carefully extracted its insides with some screwdrivers and iPod Opening Tools, and—the worse part—photographed the process for all the world to see.

There's a clear sense of enjoyment detected in the teardown's documentation, with words like "careful prying" and variants of "easily" used as though it makes looking at the "fallen remains of what was once an HTC EVO 4G" any less painful.

The work is very neat, I'll say that, and it will certainly be useful for modders and DIYers, but looking at EVO carnage is not how I want to start my day.

Check out iFixit's handiwork, if you dare (you sicko!).

Thanks, Aussie Salt.
