New software update (3.30.651.2) for HTC EVO already rooted

Evo

Update 11/8: The new software will only be available for new EVOs.

Heads up, folks.

A new software update for the HTC EVO 4G is headed your way. Version 3.30.651.2 is said to contain some updates to the camera, various system changes, and a new kernel and hboot.

And of course, it's already been rooted and made available to us as a flashable .zip (you already know what to do with that) courtesy of the awesome members of the xda-developers forum. The official RUU is available too.

I haven't checked it out on my EVO yet and there doesn't seem to be a changelog out at the moment either, but the small bump in version number from 3.29.651.5 means there's no reason to expect anything major.

Anyone try it yet?

Links to the ROM and RUU can be found below.
