Good and EVO

HTC EVO available with free activation until midnight

Happy Presidents' Day!

If you're not spending the day with friends/family honoring our forefathers and doing all sorts of presidential things, then you might be looking for some good holiday shopping deals. And it just so happens that Wirefly has one on the HTC EVO.

The retailer is selling the phone for $149.99 with new two-year contract right now and if you buy it before midnight (PST) tonight, you can keep the $36 you would've had to part with for activation. Sprint will issue a credit for the $36 fee on your billing statement for up to 5 new lines of service, which is where that "save up to $180" comes from in the banner you see above.

Free activation on a $149.99 EVO isn't as good of a deal as Amazon selling it for $99, which is still going on, but it's better than what you'd pay if you went directly to Sprint.
