Good and EVO

HTC EVO used to promote MLB.com's At Bat 11 for Android app

As Major League Baseball fans get ready for Opening Day next month, MLB.com is promising to add new functionality and extras like live streaming video to its already full-featured At Bat 11 app ($14.99).

The app is currently available on multiple platforms, so the At Bat 11 page on the MLB site contains a small section with a description, photo, and purchase links for each one. There's the iPhone 4 standing in for all the iPhones/iPod touches, the BlackBerry Torch showing up for all the BlackBerrys, and none other than the HTC EVO 4G representing all the Android phones running 2.1 and up.

The EVO is certainly becoming accustomed to filling this position, as it's already been called up to bat by both Fandango and ooVoo. With all the other Android phones released/announced since the phone's release eight months ago, it's pretty awesome that these companies still choose the EVO to show off their apps.
